In 2012, ELPC launched, a website dedicated to advancing the adoption of electric vehicles in the Chicagoland area and throughout the Midwest. As project manager, I oversaw the strategies for messaging, design, web development, content creation, and ongoing marketing. The site includes an interactive comparison chart that features all the EVs available for purchase in the Midwest — of particular value to consumers because most EVs don’t come out nationwide, and there is no single source of information on availability of all models by location. It also provides information on owner incentives, EV news and other resources. ELPC communications and program staff create some original content exploring the evolving industry trends. The site receives steady traffic of over 1,200 visitors per month.
