Action alerts are a core part of advocacy organizations. They are our chance to reach out to the public about important, time-sensitive issues that we’re working on. They are our chance to provide our followers with an opportunity to “do something” by contacting their elected leaders and other decision-makers. And they actually do help advance our programmatic goals.
I manage all aspects of ELPC’s online advocacy system, including drafting content in coordination with our expert staff and messaging team, playing “traffic cop” with ELPC’s myriad programmatic goals, troubleshooting technical issues, and sorting (and trying to draw conclusions from) data.
